Head Light switch on when doors unlocked

Hi,

Is there a way to have the lights switched on automatically when the door locks are opened using the remote? If so can someone tell me how its done please. Ive seen this feature on a number of new cars and was wondering whether it coulfd be done on a 2004(facelift) X5 3.0d Sport(UK model)

It can be done through NCS. You will have to lookup the exact value you wish to set to aktiv though, I don't remember it exactly.

Not really. You can install the EDIABAS suite on your own laptop and connect it to the X for both errors readout and coding.

Can someone provide the exact value please and also to turn auto locking on when the vehicle gets to a certain speed

16_km/h for the vehicle speed.

VERRIEGELN_AUT_NACH_2_MIN
aktiv to auto re-lock if no door is opened after you press the unlock button on the remote (long story short: avoids accidental unlock of the car).

And about the lights, are you looking for the `leaving home` behavior?
