CV Boot Protectant. Does it exist?

Just spent $ & Calendar Days on a Powerflex Bushing, Control Arm, Tension Strut Ball Joint Upgrade. Thanks to all of the DIY's here and helpful hints on Xoutpost. Alsmost did not need my Bently Bible (Manuel).
This allowed for a thorough inspection of the boots. Fortunately I am fine - for now.
Q: Is there a protectant that one can spray on to these boots to help keep the rubber pliable or is it best to keep them clean & dry.

Thanks for any helpful hints here.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
I use pure silicone spray. The boots look pretty good at 98k miles on mine. It does good enough at cleaning and preserving rubber to make a positive difference.

Kinda soaks into the rubber, leaves no sticky film.

It leaves a dry, slippery surface (with a nice shine).

The best way to apply silicone spray is to spray a rag then wipe on. This way the propellant doesn't go onto the rubber. Some propellants degrade certain types of rubber due to the solvent like properties of the propellent.

I am at the stage of contemplating doing this after new front outer cv boots were installed.....anyone else tried and applied long term and used pure silicon and armor all & has seen a marked increase in lifespan?
