which oil
hi guys im about to change the oil on my 2004 x5 diesel, iv been looking around the forum to see which oil is recommended, as im not getting the service done at the dealer. there seems to be so many different types people are using can anyone advise me which one i need if its fully or semi synthetic etc also living in wales uk as i know the weather and temp where you live plays a part too. thanks

Castrol Magnatec/Edge 0w-40 seems to be the most popular option in Europe for Diesels. Caerdydd is no exception.
 You should be able to pick it up at Halfords.
