You have to do what will make you feel good. If you want the other stuff, thats the way to go for you. No point in worrying over what you have done. I have 150+ km on my X5 and no problems with my tranny. The biggest thing here, is doing the maintenance. This stuff isn't magic smoke and mirrors, sediment in oil equals wear, ( and plugs filters too.) I wish you good luck on your oil change There is lots of good help in this forum. Now go get greasy!
