X5 problems please HELP HELP HELP

Hi I have made a mess up I hope someone can help with. My mate has carsoft 6.5 and offered to read and clear fault codes, I took him up on this, he read and cleared codes and tried to set auto locking.

The problem begins, now when I lock my car the interior light stays on and the red led flashes constant for 10 secs (only way to turn light off is to hold in the unlock button on the keyfob until the windows go down enough to manually turn the interior lights off, then with the keyfob lock car and put windows up) it also beeps when I lock it which it didn't before, another problem which occured is if I activate the rain sensor, when I turn the jeep off the wipers stop in the complete ertical postion.

Is there anything I can do or Carsoft or yourself or do I need to book this into BMW.

Really hope you can shed some light on this.

I take it a lock has went faulty, why would this be after fault codes were cleared?

so this would explain beep, interior light, interior central locking button but what about the auto wipers? Can that be linked?

I have noticed the interior light comes on when doors closed but it goes off if I open the drives door (haven't checked if it does this with any other doors)

Tried spraying WD40 around the mech of each lock but made no difference.

Is this something you should be able to sort out on Tuesday aswell or is this a visit to BMW? Is there anything I could try in the meanwhile?

thanks
