The fault might not be for the airflow sensor itself, but for the amount of airflow measured by it... kinda like the O2 sensor faults for lean mixture.
I'd check the condition of hose #11 in the link below just to make sure it is intact and has no splits etc, and really check the vacuum hose that goes to the valve pictured on the right in that link. RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 3.0i EMISSION CONTROL-AIR PUMP

Thanks Weasel, I will check the hoses first thing tomorrow but, doesn't the sensor measure the amount of air before it gets to these hoses?
RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 3.0i EMISSION CONTROL-AIR PUMP everytime I have this fault and change item #9 on the picture, the fault goes away for a couple of months, 10-12.

Yes the sensor does measure the air going in to the pump, but that amount will be lowered if the air isn't able to make it into the exhaust... The main cause of this fault in the field is the vacuum line going to the valve. It is in a high heat area so gets dry/cracked over the years and odds are when you check it out it may break off in your hands, so I'd expect to change a 6" piece of vacuum hose.

I just checked all the hoses and didn't find any damage. I took everything apart put it back together and reset the OBD. I will test it tomorrow and see if anything happen. thanks for the advise. If this doesn't work, I will order another sensor I guest.

If 4 sensors didn't fix it, it isn't the root of the problem. Possibly the valve is sooted up on the inside, you never know without checking the whole system.

How can I do that? Do I have to take it to the dealer? I would prefer to replace the valve since it is only $114 and the sensor is only $100.

The valve only has a couple nuts that hold it on, maybe just pull it off and clean it out as best as you can. If you have access to a vacuum tester like the one linked below you can actually open the valve and clean the whole inside out as well as see if it is sticking at all when being activated/opened.

Hey Weasel,
I finally had time to do what you recomended and it worked, thanks. I took the valve apart and cleaned it out. Now that I think about it, it always happend during the cold months. I guest the cold made the valve stick a little and was throwing the P1419 code. I cleaned the valve yesterday and so far it has not giving me the code. It usually gave me the code after a couple of start up when I reseted the OBD, which I have done, and so far so good. Thanks again.
