Try BSW: Bavarian Soundwerks they seem to know their stuff.
No relation, I just like to support my local business's
...they also advertise and post on the forum but I can't remember under what name.

Or: eas - 714.369.8524 | DICE - SILVERLINE PRO iPod Integration Kit for e53 X5 (Radio Interface)
Have that in mine - does all I need - also ID3 tags on the radio display and full control via steering wheel - and was plug and play.

Anyone use this product? Thoughts?

....also, how do I know if I have DSP?

If you look in the trunk there are two removable panels on both sides.
Pull them open and if they are both empty (looks like extra storage space)
then you don't have DSP.
I believe that in the driver side compartment sits the DSP and the passenger side has the subwoofer.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong... My X has two empty compartments so I'm going by memory of what I've read on the forum.

you're right. I have DSP. I went through the Nav settings, there is a DSP screen (room echo and such) and yes...DVD / 6 Disc are rear driver side comp. and 2 subwoofers in the passenger side rear comp
