Halo vs Angel eyes vs xenon

my 02 x5 has xenon headlights. they outside is fogging up from too much sun. im looking around and i see halo and angel eyes for around $150. are these better than the original xenon and what's the difference halo and angel eyes?

Halo and angel eyes go around the low beam and one around the high beam. They don't act as a headlight. It's all about fashion.

it's just a lighted ring around the headlight? to replace the xenon headlight cases it's around 1000 for parts. i can buy these for 150 -250.

Is it foggy on the outside. You can wet sand the plastic with high grit paper and them buff it. There was a diy out there if you do a search. I think it's worth a try. I personally thing those head lights are ugly and will probably give some codes.
