Please help me with my issues. My X is making all kinds of noises now that it has 200K miles on it. First off, when I press the unlock button on the remote I hear a clicking noise from the doors unlocking - sounds like doors unlocking. This is followed by a high-pitched "beep-beep" from under the hood. Once inside, if the wife drove it last, I have to hit the memory button to get my settings back - as soon as I do this, the seat starts making this whirring sound - almost like a motorized seat moving. I place the key in the ignition and turn it. All of a sudden this crazy noise comes from under the hood, kind of like the sound of a running engine. Along with this, most of the time music suddenly starts coming out of all four doors and the dash - crazy!!! While the X is making the weird engine-like noise, I have noticed from the back of the vehicle the sound of air being expelled from something metallic and tubular, and from both sides of the rear of the vehicle - and it gets louder as you press the skinny pedal on the right!!!
This is just a few of my issues - I won't even get into all the noises I hear when say I turn on the wipers (whishing noise), press the center of the steering wheel (sudden honking sound), or close the doors (slamming noise).
Sorry, couldn't resist. It has been a few weeks since I have been on here and just looking thru the first couple of pages of new posts was comical - people posting about this creaking, that popping, etc. etc. Sounds a lot like my 40 yr old body!!!
