I HATE my winter wheels. Any ideas?

After riding on my 20s all spring and summer, i just cannot stand to look at my car with the stock 18s on for the winter. I'm really tempted to buy a square 20" set up..or even the 19 staggered set up with snow tires. i just dont know how good of an idea that would be..plus the $ thing is sort of ridiculous--would i just be wasting money?

Any other ideas?

Those are the same wheels I used for winter on my '05. Stick with them. They're not bad looking at all and the best choice for winter size wise. It's only for a few months.

I go through the same love/hate every winter. 18s look so small but not many other practical choices lol.

Naz,
You will come to re-love them during that normal Ithaca Jan/Feb/March winter, imo!

Naz I have the same relationship with my summer/winter setups. The only difference is that I have 17" for winter and in comparison to my 20" 87's they look super odd. So this year I said eff the 17"s and purchased Contis DWS for my 87's being that NYcity winter is only 5 months. I got tired of the off/on on the tires. + my Michys Diamaris fronts were toasted which furthermore justified my purchase.

Good luck on what you decide to do.

Naz,

I didn't have the time to do it but I was going to have my wheels painted ferric grey or darker so that the 18" wheel size was less obvious. That'll probably cost more than you want to spend on them though.

Naz, we live in NJ, we need these 18" sets for icy cold winter. They are not bad looking at all. You're not alone. I just changed my 05 winter tires and took some photos here:
