Thanks

I'm a fan too - glad I chose these over the M Parallels because they fit the style of the e53 much better. It also really shows how big the brakes are - there's only about 1mm of clearance between the caliper and wheel barrel! I actually had to rotate the first wheel I mounted to the rear because the tape weight hit the caliper!

Here's another pic with the suspension in off-road mode:

Looks great for a winter set. The best part is that they don't look sunken behind the fender flares

I had to come back and look at these again. It really makes me wish I had some snow to drive through. Once again, great call for a snow setup. It may be one of the best I have ever seen on an e53.

What's going on with that straight six in the photo by the way?

Thanks guys - I'm liking them more and more after driving around and walking to and from the car. The gf likes them too

I ordered a set of 30mm spacers from Turner Motorsport so those should balance the rear and really look good. I'll take out the SLR for pics when that happens, maybe there'll even be some snow for effect lol

The straight 6 is one of three M52s I have - a long block for whomever needs it. I have started a salvage/refurbishment company specializing in BMWs, and this motor along with some parts cars and stray parts will be listed online in the next few months.

recycleBMWs.com is the site, it is nothing more than a logo for now but after my move and the holidays are over it will grow into something interesting

I will definitely be ordering rear spacers, although I am not sure how big I will go. Front flares are almost necessary at this point, so I'd like to add those and then find the right rear spacer for them to sit equally.

I'll have more pics soon, it was dark out and I didn't have my SLR with me so just the iPhone pic for now.
Great looking winter set up that .......but did you really have to take out the engine to change the wheels
