I installed mine less than a year ago, and one started flickering recently. I am in Texas, and it hasn't gotten cold yet. They were fine last winter. I was going to buy a new set. So I may just need to put that size resistor in line? That would be good news. I was afraid I would have to start spending $50 a year for these. Here is a picture of mine before and after at the same time.

Looks great. Any pics of before? Kinda new here so I'm not sure what you had prior.

Thanks.

Mine have been pretty resilient through getting wet last week and it being in the low 20's at night while down here in Reno. The X almost looks naked now without them since I've gotten so used to seeing them on it and most other BMW's.

I know they may not be as bright as the angelibrights, but for $50 you really cant lose!

EFX XENON WHITE BMW ANGEL EYE 1-LED HEADLIGHT BULBS: eBay Motors (item 300483271292 end time Nov-18-10 18:46:30 PST)
This thread is getting spread between those with and without factory installed angel eyes. Your lucky enough to only have to change the bulb, so maybe you should change the thread to replacement bulb instead of just angel eye. I've done it about 5x now on different X's, but it's definately not a 10 minute job on the prefacelifted X's I trim the the tabs off the rings, clear silicone them in place and the wire and fuse them inside the ECU box.

I'm James and I work at Euro Effects and I'm glad that you all seem to like our Angel Eye replacement bulbs.

I happen to have a 2001 X5 and I would like to thank Naz24 for pointing me to this forum. I will not be posting here much on a business-level because I don't want to be spammy or anything like that.

But, I'm sure I'll be on here for personal matters with respect to my X5. It seems like a great forum.

Thanks,
James

Naz thanks again for the heads up on these! I got my 5 Watt in and they look awesome! Super easy to install, took about 20 minutes, I would recommend loosening the head light assembly, do not remove, just loosen!
