Battery drain solved BUT is software or hardware
I have finally solved the battery drain on my X5 after over a year of hassle
with the the suv, the DVD player is the culprit, it would go into sleep mode but obviously awaking by itself, it could drain the battery in 20 minutes or less. Anyone with a battery draining issue try disconnecting you`re dvd player or remove fuse number 75 in the boot (note: removing the fuse will stop all audio as well ie radio) this could be the root of you`re problem too. Does any BMW tech or anyone in the forum know if this is a software or hardware issue with the dvd player? Does BMW know of this problem? ..if so.. Has BMW release any info on this problem and a "How to fix"? |
