THANKS JCL, I THINK YOURE RIGHT. THE ERROR CODE HAS TO DO WITH THE ENGINE AND NOT THE SUSPENSION.

ALL FOR OF MY WHEELS ARE LOW TO THE GROUND. MAYBE ITS THE PUMP THAT IS MALFUNTIONING. I HAD THE SUSPENTION INACTIVE A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS REPAIRED BY THE STEALER. IT WAS A AIR BAG THAT WENT, WITH ONESIDE OF THE WHEEL LOW TO GROUND.

WHAT HAPPENDED WAS I PARKED IN A LOT PERFECTLY FINE. THEN WHEN I CAME BACK TO GET THE X, IT LOOK LIKE A LOW RIDER.

We really need to start consolidating all these air suspension issues threads.....

I have 4-corner air suspension and have dealt with my problems to have a flawless operating system now, why do you need to test the compressor? Do you have issues you are trying to diagnose? Do you have SELF LEVEL SUSP INACT on the dash?

Everyone needs to stop monkeying around and if you have the error on the cluster then you need to find an Indy with GT1 or a local user on the forum who can scan your car, find the EXACT fault code you are throwing, run the test plan and see what you come up with.

It's well known that the "relay issue" is mostly for guys with rear air only, dual axle air suspension owners usually do not have a relay issue per se, but if you are looking for the relay for the air suspension it should be in the trunk on the right side cargo compartment, as opposed to the rear air only models which have a relay in the hump.

My Fronts are already Arnott Struts. The Front Driver side strut is currently leaking air from just 1 year of use. The thing is, My air compressor does not kick in anymore like it used to for 5-10 seconds every morning. I want to test the air compressor to see if its the problem, or if i need a new relay. Any idea which relay it is on the right side cargo area ?

My compressor doesn't always kick on when the car is started, it usually only kicks on if it needs to fill the air tank, and my air suspension works flawless.

What you need to do like I said above is first off, fix your leaking air strut, Arnotts come with a warranty and I'm sure you are most likely eligible for it! Secondly, GET YOUR CAR SCANNED WITH GT1, full air suspension cars do not usually have problems with the relay, that is a rear air only issue!

3rd, if you had leaking air struts previously, and are currently driving around with a leaking air strut, I can almost guarantee you will come up with an error code labeled "EHC 74 ACCUMULATOR FILLING REQUESTED PRESSURE REMAINS CONSTANT" which means your air compressor cannot fill up the air tank quick enough because of worn seals from being "overworked" when you had leaking air struts.

Like I mentioned in another thread or earlier this AM, there is a proven fix from members on this forum using a VW/Audi kit to repair their air pumps if that is the problem you still have. Link is below, it is $150.

However, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME FIXING THE AIR COMPRESSOR OR TROUBLESHOOTING IT UNDER YOU FIX YOUR LEAKING AIR BAGS.

Either way you need scanned by GT1, and I make no excuses for my brash delivery here, but I learned all these things the hard way and through hours of scouring this forum and PM'ing members who have had problems for clues, and doing a lot of troubleshooting myself. I spent 1000 bucks on new Arnott units to be installed and still had no working air suspension so I spent a couple months troubleshooting the error I had which ended up being related to my air compressor, it would run occasionally but it does not stay "within spec" so it throws a code. I replaced it and my air suspension works great for over a year now.

Hope that all helps.

Ok. So temporarily is there any way for me to jump the relay to fill the bags just so i can drive from work and back until i have time to swap out the front arnott strut again and scan it with GT1. ?

I swapped out Relay #4 with Relay #6 and the air pump still does not kick on. Is there any way to just reset the whole system and get the air pump to kick back on?

I don't know anything about jumping relays, but when my air struts were leaking I just drove down the block and eventually they pumped up themselves, the compressor may not kick on when the car is started but once you start driving it should turn on and pump those bags back up.

Basically every morning my X was a lowrider in the front but after a minute or two of driving the bags would be inflated again.
