I finally joined the forum tonight to say hello and thank the creators, admins, and many members who have saved my sanity (and cost) during the more than eight years I have owned the same 2001 X5. Yes I have considered selling it to move into a newer model or for something entirely different yet each time I realized this X5, even with its quirks, is perfect for me, and even at its current age not easily outshined. It has been great to find a site where so many owners love their X5's as much.
