E 53 Suspension Question?
How does one know when the front end bushings, tie rods, boots etc need to be replaced? I have 123,000 miles on my '02 3.0. I have no repair history before 82,000 miles when I became the owner. It's been on my mind and what would you think the cost would be at an indy shop? |

Well you have over 40,000 on your parts so if it doesn't feel tight and stiff you're probably due.

the steering still feels pretty good. I wouldn't say nice and stiff. once in awhile I get a little vibration/slop that feels like it's coming from the front end.
Should I have it checked or wait untill it is really noticable? Any idea of the cost of the most common repairs? |

go to ecs tuning and purchase a whole front end suspension kit. or you can go to bavauto. this kit comes with all the parts that need replacement (usually over 100k miles.) do this and get a bmw trained indy to do the repairs. goodluck
