Front/Rear lighter not working (Fuse??)

I did a few quick searches and didn't come up with anything, but I have an 05 3.0 in which my wife plugs in a portable DVD player into the front or rear cigarette lighter to maintain the charge. Unfortunately it stopped working and we initially thought it was the DVD player. Well I went and purchased a new one and we plugged it in thinking nothing of it until it shut off after it drained it's initial charge. So I'm left thinking the plugs don't work. Anyone have an issue with their lighter plugs not working...could it be a fuse? Unfortunately I'm out of town and have to relay all information to my wife via the telephone and I can't look to check it myself. Any idea which fuse I should look at for my particular model so I can tell her what to do?

Thanks.

might be a coincidence but when I used to plug our dvd system in the cig lighter in the rear it often tripped the fuse,,,,,in the end I stopped being lazy and hard wired it, we have the invision headrest monitors and since then the system works faultlessly.

I have the same issue - sorta. I bought my car CPO and didn't notice that the cigarette lighters weren't charging my iPhone. The car has been back to the dealer and they have replaced a fuse. That made the cigarette lighter work but it won't charge the iPhone. To date they want to charge me to track down the "electrical issue".

Hopefully yours is just a fuse.

Propobly Fuse, check if the slot in the trunk works. Fuse # is 25 I believe.
