Where do you get a windshield washer resavoir cap?
I am having trouble locating. Previous owner said it was a common problem. Anyone know more about this? Mine is completely missing

It's a couple bucks at any dealer. Had the same problem!

Only $6 bucks at the dealer!! ONLY ONE PROBLEM!!!! NONE Available in USA!! So they say!! 5,000 in germany he said, but they cant get them here. He said he cant even order one. I will try the site supplied by diyanich.

I will try a junkyard.... I tried to order one. $4 for a cap, GREAT $11.00 Shipping NOT SO GOOD!

That's a rip off,look here you have it a bit cheaper
bmw x5 washer bottle cap also e46,39,60 etc on eBay.ca (item 260718459864 end time 06-Feb-11 15:32:27 EST)

chas3 is on a distinguished road
I guess the cap was thorn from the collar and it felt down the engine area, so you probably can recover it after taking off the covers under engine.
