What is the wheel width and tire size? Maybe you're running too wide of a tire and it's causing the middle to bow out a little.

Unfortunately, I agree with that.

Wonder if that's why the E70 4.8iS wheels went to 10" and 11" wide (and, if the 11" 315mm guys are having similar issues). If history repeats itself regarding center wear, I might look into 295/40/20. That or go from 10.5" to 11" by widening or to a different wheel.

its normal wear for high speed driving on these wide rears. i think tire is not supported in the middle has damarial and latitude many sets 19 and 20 happened on all of them i drive many miles 80 mph daily 100--200 mles.. try prielli but i think is wide tire issue on small rim
