Side View Mirror

Greetings all and Happy New Year.

So today I wake up to my entire driver side mirror hanging on the side of my door. Doesn't look like it was another vehicle because the mirror is intact, looks more like some asshole yanked it off and broke all screws that hold it up. I taped it up with duct tape (looking straight ghetto right now) but I may need to replace it or disassemble it and try to screw it firmly and lose out on the little bit it folds in (which I hate that it only folds in just a tad).

I have called a few junk yard places in the NYC region and no luck in finding a used one. Tried eBay and no luck there either. If anyone knows of any scrap/junk yards that have a website or if anyone knows of a scrap/junk yard in your area and can stop/call and check if they have one I would greatly appreciate it. The color doesn't matter at this point.

Happy New Year and sorry to hear.

What year and model do you have? There are several on ebay now but you need to make sure you get the correct one for your model.

Here's a link to a new one from the same vendor I used to replace my driver mirror assembly on my 4.8 (you just need to transfer mirror cover and mirrror to the new assembly.

I would contatc the vendor above in my first link and ask if they have one specifically for your model.

Here's the other one on ebay but not much info. so contact and ask if it has all the features you listed.

Another place I've bought that usually has good prices (for a dealer and some comfort with ordering) is:

BMW of Bloomfield

Just contact them to make sure you have the correct part number.

Bloomfield and BMWRoswell in ATL will be my next resort. I will try to get a used one being that the frigging thing is almost $600 bucks but if all fails it leaves me no other choice. I purchased my wide arch fender flares from Bloomfield and the price was very decent.

You're welcome and no prob. For used parts you can try:

BMW Parts used and rebuilt bmw auto parts

Haven't found them to be great on prices though.
