Silver X5 Black Wheels

Hi all.

Anyone got a Silver E53 with Black wheels? If you do, can you post some pics for me?

What are your thoughts on black wheels, should I or shouldn't I?

Cheers.

Brett

Pretty easy to get an idea about how they will look....just don't wash the wheels for a couple of months and, there you go! Really. brake dust accumulates very quickly! Or you can do a search and find a pic in the "show us your x" thread. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...s-your-x5.html

nice! i like....i'm looking to do the same...as i just sold my silver 168,,,,was going to powder coat them, but cost wise wasn't worth it, 150 to dismount my tires, 300 for powder coating, and then 150 to remount and balance....600 job....i decided to get some new rims...not sure what yet....

I think you are going to the wrong wheel dealer. How do you justify $150 for dismounting first of all. Then have the balls to charge another $150 for remount and balance? It's easier to dismount and no balancing is involved! That's some big bucks someone is trying to rip from you.

I've been contemplating the same thing, the more I see vehicles with black wheels the more I'm liking it. I never seen a silver one with black ones tho.
