What do you listen to in your X?

Ditched the factory 6CD changer in the trunk for an IceLink in 2005. Since then it's been all iPod (now iPhone) as my main music source. Some radio and in-dash CD every now and then, but Lossless audio sounds fairly decent on the old DSP system after some EQ tweaks. It's great being able to integrate the latest tech toys into a ten year old car

Anyway, here's a pic of my setup and a list of what I've got playing:

Arcade Fire
Guster
Jay-Z
Keane
The Killers
Miike Snow
MuteMath
Paper Tongues
Passion Pit
Phoenix
Temper Trap
Two Door Cinema Club

What about you guys? What do you listen to in your X?

Portable XM radio unit integrated through AUX input on back of the Business CD. It sounds decent and the variety is hard to beat.

The sound of my in-line six...

The damn thing is so quiet that listening to music totally drowns it out. I don't feel totally comfortable driving unless I can hear the engine notes, so I usually keep the stereo off. But the music in my head is always on!

lately the playlist I play in my mind while driving are my favorites from Mike Patton's (best rock vocalist ever IMO)side projects: Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Fantomas, Mondo Cane
Mondo Cane is amusingly fantastic.

I need to see if Bavarian Soundwerks has some sort of audio upgrade, because the music in my head sounds like crap compared to the car stereo.

i too ditched the 6 cd player in the cargo area. (whoever thought of putting it there hopefully was fired) swapped it with the dice mediabridge. 3000 songs on the ipod, bluetooth phone. and a slot for the sirius radio (haven't added the sirius yet howard)

Go Huskies!

I like driving to loud and fast music... the original DSP system didn't cut it for me so I upgraded to a JVC aftermarket deck with 4 JL Audio speakers and a JL 5-channel amp. Sounds like magic and looks good too. I usually pop in a CD when I start driving and then switch to iPod if I'm still driving when the CD ends (no changer).

A couple recent tracks I've been riding to:

Listened last time I was smashing down the freeway...

But sometimes you just wanna cruise...
Steel Pulse (Feat. Damian Marley) - No More Weapons | SPIKE
