Urgent help needed!!!!!

Hi I would be really grateful for any advice. During the recent cold snap my drivers door handle froze, I realise this is a common problem and have read the fixes on this site but my problem is deeper. During the freeze I have pulled on the door handle and broke the carrier this door won't open from outside, this wasn't such q major problem as I could use another door and gain entry or hold open button on key and pop window down. However I was going away for 3 weeks to work and intended to fix it when I got back. This is where the major problem lies, the vehicle battery is now completely flat and I have no way of getting entry and can't see any way forward other than smashing window any ideas????????? If it was just the battery I could use the key on drivers door but because of the two problems together I am completely locked out of the car and locksmith would be no good as lock is ok and I have key it's just handle not working. Thanks in advance for any ideas/help
My model is x5 e53 2001 3.0i petrol rhd

You have to hoof up a charger or another battery on the positive of the starter from under the car and found the other side to the chassis.
