where to find cheap "Shock Absorber front"?

i have the x5 4.4 2001 and i hear some clunk, cluck when passing over bumps or when making right and left,
and i come to conclusion after inspecting that i think the front (both left and right) are bad i think, plus i have about 160k miles on it,

so i have look here in there and i so that autozone may have them about 300$ each, but online i found some with 160$ here, and some with 75$ here, but not complete ,,and what do i have standard or self leveling shocks?
confuse little there..

if anyone knows where i can get those cheaper or what exactly i need, please reply with some advice.
thank you very much,

thanks

Lots of options.... Check realoem.com to see parts diagrams and numbers according to your model. You can try some of our site sponsors like ESS Tuning and European Auto Source for your parts. There are other places but I like to mention our sponsors first.

Do you have the full air suspension system or just the rear self leveling? You have the full air system if you have the ride height adjustment panel on your dash below the light switch. Otherwise, you just have the rears. The full air system is the more expensive system to fix, and there are lots of write ups here that talk about repair and replacements.
