Searched? But can't find... keyfob not unlocking / locking car after dead battery!?

Anyone have any tips? It all worked fine, battery died, installed a brand new battery, everything is fine (now that the odd check engine and other lights have cleared themselves from the ugly low battery start) except I cannot lock or unlock the doors with my keyfob. Can they become 'unpaired' from the car and need a resync?

I appreciate any help! Locking and unlocking manually with the key works fine and activates all 4 doors.

Thanks!!!
Adam

Hi,

had my battery disconnected some days ago and after reconnecting no problem with the keys. If you really need to pair them: http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/...ob-bmw-x5.html

Good luck
