spilled coffee on lock button!!!

locking and unlocking doesnt work now cause i spilled coffee there. is there any easy way to fix it? its bothering me to open doors each time.

Maybe pop it out and clean it out with really hot water for a while, then fully dry it out. Worth a try.

You can carefully take the switch apart with a small screwdriver or small blade to inspect/clean the internals. But hot water works better than any cleaner I've found for spills like soda or coffee...

it was so disgusting when i switch apart the parts to clean inside. i just cleaned with hot water for about 20minutes and waiting to be dry for few minutes now. hope it works....

I've got another thread running where I have some issues. I just remembered that we did have a coffee spill in the center console about a week ago...I wonder if it could be related
