According to Bimmer Magazine the next generation X5 will grow about six inches overall,enough to allow for the third row seats that will enable it to carry seven passengers.
Power will be provided by BMW's latest 3.0-liter six in both diesel and gasoline burning versions,and by the V8s in 4.5-liter diesel or 5.0-liter gas configurations.

Any word on some diesel's for us in the USA????

From my understanding of the article Bimmer diesels are for Europe.I am trying to track down a report on DW(German Tv) regarding diesel Bimmer for the US market.I'll post it once I get hold of it.
