Sorry for the o/t, Isambard - sounds like you're not too far from me, any good tips for scrapyards etc in Surrey / Berkshire ?

Thanks,

Thats ok mate, not my thread! . I use R.A.W Spares in Mitcham quite alot, but generally I use Partsgateway.co.uk. Very good site, as they contact all the scrapyards for you with your requirements, then they get back to you via email or phone (your choice). Very easy, just sit back and wait for the quotes to come in, then you decide!

Good luck.

Have you checked the fuse, or the connector plug to the lock itself?

Smile Same case solved in my X5

Hi,

Previously my trunk can be opened either from the switch inside my car or by my remote control, but not using trunk switch at back of car. I replace the rubber pad part number 29 "Actuation unit, trunk lid" cost me 3bucks from dealership and it works since then.

Hope this helps, with same case as mine.
