Code P1092

I ve got a code P1092 from my OBDII and while i was searching in the forum, i think the problem might be the O2 Sensor. What do you guys think? do i need to replace one? 2006 X5 3.0i

That code doesnt indicate a KS 02 (sensor). It is detecting a lean mixture on your bank 2,which can well may be caused by the cat converter on that bank coming apart, which would cause lean error codes.

This guy wasted a lot of time because his scanner incorrectly detected error code P1092.When he had it diagnosed properly,he got different code which pointed him to the exact sensor to replace and thus solved his problem!
In other words, his DTC code was different from yours! You need to be 100% sure, P1092 is your error code?

Check your Kat....!tap it with a metal object and check if theres something loose in there, thats blocking gases!

Having dealt with this issue myself for about 6 months straight ill tell you the fix was my bank1 post cat o2 sensor. This is completely contrary to what the code was saying. I'd urge you get the BMW code. I believe it translates to 235 but it might be different for your vehicle and OBD is interpreting it differently.
