FYI, Nothing Special about BMW Power Steering Hose
They are both molded. The longer one has no couplers and is just, well, hose. The short hose has no coupler on one end, but a PS coupler on the other. I cannot say if the coupler is BMW specific, but beyond that one coupler, there is absolutely nothing special about these hoses and they should cost about $20-$30 for both instead of the $80-$90 my local BMW is charging. So, if you need these hoses and can find them anywhere for less, I would go that way.
