i have a silver X with the same style rims and had contemplated getting mine painted black... or doing it myself during the winter in a heated room of course.

I have the same rims as well and considered doing a gunmetal color. This came after I started noticing that I actually likes my rims more with a coating of brake dust than the bright silver stock look.

old thread...but i'm considering doing this...i wanted oem wheels...or finding hubcentric wheels...i didn't really like the 20" i had previously...aswell hated all the dust on the rims!!! no begs the question, matte black or piano black?
