dash lights not working

Hi, my dash lights have stopped working also the window switches and heater switches etc don't light up, is it a case of replacing the dash with a recon unit? all the fuses are ok and a auto electrician couldn't find anything.

hmm, my first check before going nuts ripping the dash apart would be the battery. is it old? these cars do some weird things on old batteries

ohh and also try using the search button on the top menu, there are so many threads on problems and instead of wasting time waiting for a response, you may be able to find something really quickly

thanks just read it, its different problems really, i have full beam light and indicator lights ots just the illumination thats not working.
