Brake issue: hard pull to right under braking

I recently noticed my '01 4.4 is pulling hard to the right under braking. It also feels like the left front is diving under braking, but the right front remains stable. Could I have a frozen caliper, or something along those lines? Anyone experience similar?

You have answered your own question old chap! Yes, it is a seized LH caliper. Your description is a classic example of that.

Thanks! Wouldn't you know it, today when I got in it, I started it and while in park I pumped the brakes a few times then drove off. The braking felt a little strange for the first couple of stops, like the right caliper was cycling between braking and not braking, then it started working normally again. Full braking power and no pulling either direction. Weird.

I'm going to leave it alone for now since my wife drives the new X5d and almost never drives my old girl.
