4.8is Non OEM Brake pad recommendations???

I bought a set of EBC Green Stuff pads for my 04 4.8is AND for my 07 4.8is.

The ones on the 07 not a peep out of them. The ones on the 04 squeal worse than a gaggle of piggies. When you scare pedestrians it is bad.

Have had them off 3 times and nothing works

2 kinds of caliper grease
BG pad treatment
Beveled the edges
Turned rotors
Replaced rotors
Waved a rubber chicken over them

Nada. ECS and EBC won't take them back so I have to toss them and find another solution.

I want less dust than OEM pads. I have used Mintex Redbox pads for years but they do not make them for the 4.8is.

Any suggestions?

Call Zeckhausen Racing and speak to Dave. Ask him for his recommendation. He lists three different pads for the 4.8. Axxis doesn't make a Deluxe Advanced pad, which I have used on several vehicles with great success, but they do offer the ULT. He also lists Centric and Porterfield pads for that application.

Scroll down past the big brake kits to see the various pads offered.

I replacedmine with cross-drilled rotors and RED STUFF using a sufficient amount of anti-brake squeal. Never had a problem one!
