that the Relay, Air Suspension Control Module and the AHM Trailer Recognition module have shorted out and need to be replaced.

Question 1: How difficult is it to replace the above electronic modules?
Question 2: Depending on the response to Q1, do I need any special tools?
Question 3: Why wouldn't BMW have some kind of drain plug installed in the lower compartment for idiots like me?

Not difficult at all. Some tight spaces, but can definitely be done.

No special tools are required to take these pieces out.
