to be honest, I've ordered MANY a kit from e-bay, for about $60 shipped to my door, and have had no issues with any of them. I've installed over 10 sets of these in the last 3 years and neither my car, nor anyone elses is showing problems.
You do not need to spend a fortune.

I'm trying to source the same seller I have used over teh years, but I forget his e-bay name,
I know they were in a red box (like the VVME brand box) but I can not be sure if it was them for sure. The ballasts and bulbs inside the box were this exact kind, in the link I'm attaching. H3 6000K White Xenon HID Conversion Kit (Foglight) on eBay.ca (item 150557707566 end time 09-Feb-11 15:15:34 EST) these are the ballasts/bulbs I've used faithfully for years. the VVME brans seem to be the same, and even cheaper. Why not buy the cheaper set and see if they work for you. if not, it is only $35 dollars wasted haha

here is the other brand (this may be the ones I've used in the past) love how they do not mention that an H3 can be used for any car with an H3 housing hahaha, but rather list individual cars they can be used on.

I read an article on HID bulbs so here is the 101
Philips and Osram lamps are the only OEM bulbs on any car in the world . no other manufacturer has the testing or manufacturing facility to make reliable bulbs no other manufacture can guarantee the level of quality . 4100K is the OEM colour on all vehicles worldwide . anything with a higher number is causing a danger to oncoming traffic . 4100K is the closest to natural daylight . you need to ensure you fit the correct projector lens for HID .
