Voice Command?

I recently bought a 2006 4.8is and will have a ton of questions. Does the voice button on the steering wheel do anything oher than answer the phone? if so what other commands does it control.

when you press and hold for a second or so you should hear a tone - there are several commands you can give... once you program your system with your phone book you can simply saya command such as "dial John".. or you can simply say "dial number" and then proceed to dictate the number outload... I believe their are a dozen or so commands available.. I believe if you use the search function and search "voice command" you will find the info you need...

I searched this forum and looked through all the manuals. Still cant find any info other than the phone option.

Thanks, thats what I needed to know. So it does have voice command but it really dosent do much. Just some functions that I will probably never use. Funny those instructions say the voice command will have a female voice different than the one on the navigation. Mine has a male voice for the voice command and a female voice for the nav.
