I have the same thing...metal fatigue on the chassis? just my thought, because I asked dealership to check out the suspension and bushings components and was told that everything is in good condition.
It definitely feels like if somebody would hammer from underneath in the pedals area, right?

Isambard is an unknown quantity at this point
There are alot of things to replace on the front end regarding knocking noises. Can you be more specific as to what it is you have replaced? I had a knock when I went over bumps, I changed a few things too. Turned out to be the thrust-arm balljoint...

Dealer had to replace my subframe at 45,000 because I had a metallic clicking noise on certain bumps. they'd tried thrust rods, ball joints, steering rack, then found a separated weld on the front subframe. Looks like the original weld never penetrated and it had been like that from new, but didn't start making noise until adjacent welds started to weaken.

Any details as to where the "separated weld" was located on the front subframe?

Thanks!

Sorry, no details or pics. But it was the area where the steering rack was bolted to the subframe.
