Is your Silverline a trunk interface or radio?

Any chance to follow that cable?

the dice unit is a small black box maybe 3x3x1. says dice on it. it plugs in where your cd changer is. the cable is long enough to run it anywhere up front so you can plug and unplug your ipod/iphone from it. i just left it in the back compartment. i bought a used ipod on ebay for $30. i only take it out to add music. works great. i want the mediabridge to use the bluetooth to listen to sirius off my iphone.

look in the nav unit/ cd changer area (rear driver side) see if you have the dice in there

The newer ones are located in the front near the radio.
Best chance to find something is to follow the cable where you connect your iPod.

But that may be tricky.

Different question: When you connect your iPod ... do you have to switch to CD-Changer to operate it? Do you see the titles on your radio display?

i have navigation. yes the ipod is in the cd's place. i see the title and the artist yes. you can search by artist, playlist, ect just like on the ipod. it really works great. if it helps in your search the cable has a black cloth covering. if you have the dice, it also says dice on the display.

Yea i just thought about that. Im going to look today how to take the glove box off to follow that cable. Maybe theres a bad connection or something thats why the driver speaker doesn't work through the iphone but works fine when you turn the radio on

Will the DICE unit work on non-ipod products like a Droid X?

no it has an apple plug. i paid $190 from dice. they sell on ebay for $160-180. i'd let it go for $80 shipped. what i did was buy a used ipod on ebay for $30. the guy even copied 900+ songs on it to dvd so i could reload the ones i liked once i re-registered the ipod in my name. now i just leave that ipod in the car connected. ive disconnected it twice to add songs. it really works great, steering wheel controls work. shows song and artist on nav screen. can shuffle by artist, song, playlist or just play the whole list. takes 20 mins to install. (18 to disconnect battery, 2 to plug in).
