Issue and noticed something new

My daughters heated upright back portion of her seat is not heating. I checked the wiring, nothing. Any ideas, is there a fuse?

Second thing, did my X5 4.8IS actually drop down on its own when I opened the drivers door? I have never noticed it, but thought I witnessed it do it. Is that possible?

First, There IS a fuse for heated seat. Check the glove box, I'm not sure.

It it is only the back part not working I would guess there is a wiring problem to that particular heating element = new seat cover. (Unless you can isolate the broken wire.)

I don't have the air shocks so cannot comment on the other problem. (If indeed it is a problem.)

I would try taking the rear seat out and see if it gets 12V in the connector.
