Question regarding Bushing and Lower Control Arm

I am getting someone do the work in their Garage, I want to know more or less the price he should be charging me, and the price the Dealer or indy shop would charge me

And Rear Bushings

Also which is the best brand to go with

Only input I have is that Meyle bushings do not seem to hold up well. Indy shop price to use OE bushing for me was $410, thankfully covered under the aftermarket warranty - net cost to me = $100

Hey,

I can say i bought that 200-250 dollar ebay kit and it only lasted 4months. the rubber is like dried up and cracking already.

so i ordered oem bushings from ECS. I then built a wooden press...I know i knwo but i can post pics. I tested with the old lower arms and no problem. I was able to push out the old oem bushing and reinsert it. Thus tomorrow ill lift the car and remove the lower arms and put new oem bushings. I can so easly tell the diff in bushings. the oem are like rock solid. the aftermarket ones are soft .....way to soft for the x5 weight.

my indy warned me agianst the cheaper brands...but i was very strapped on cash at the time and needed the car to last only 5 months before i replaced. But he charges about 70 and hour. so to swap out the lower arms he charged me for 30 mins work so i paid 30 bucks. but for the full front suspension....tierods etc i paid about 200
