Well there is a lot of things that need to be replaced. if you are just going to do the Valley pan, then it is a $110.00 fix. That being said, your valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, both profile gaskets, various hoses, pipes, seals should all be premo before reassembly otherwise, whats the point?

So yeah, $550 is high for a valley pan, but better than $1800 at a dealer and more often than not all those parts I mentioned at a minimum need to be replaced.

And when I meant high, I meant $550 for the pan its self is absurd, but for all the parts listed is very cheap

Ok guys finished up the write up on the DIY now who knows how to post this SOB. Tried to put in the attachment, but said it is an invalid file. Are we unable to utilize docx files?
If so what are some other options? it is complete with pictures, all the info, several different procedures and is 55 pages long!

Your going to have to post it as a thread, meaning your going to need to host the files online and post them to the thread. I can help you with that if you need.

It wasnt a waste, save it as a PDF and attach it to your DYI, its convient for people to print out and use while working on the car, comes out much nicer than trying to print a thread.

You host the file and post a link to it.
