The end of Winter beg. of Spring laundry list...

....This winter was shi-tay...and hard on my girl....time to get her back in shape....

on deck...

New Tires...I am moving away from my Vredestein - this is a hard decision but I am chewing through a set a year.....cant keep up....so Going to Dueler HP- recommended from Tom, Justin and Jeff...

warped front rotor for the second time - both stoptech....just ordering a new set of front rotors only backs are only year old. going with R1Concepts slotted fronts....quality and inexpensive....

Hid fog- drivers side....shaky cable...need to replace....ballast and hid r good...cable = bad

p0491(secondary air pump) code, but the air pump is still working. Could it be the air valve perhaps a vacuum line....just been to cold to track down....

Complete detail....caught some winter scratches - which will be filled and wet sanded.....detail....wash wax polish....will get her on the lift and bring the supersprint back to life and shine.....

oil change due - etc.....

I noticed due to extreme cold and age of my girl that i would pop check front low beams or fogs or crazy random stuff...but as soon as it warms all goes away!

Also- i saw LIX5 (Neil) X5M......My old girl may need a new friend in the next year~!!

Glad to be back - I will be on here a lot more going forward!

Rich

Richi, nice to see you back again! I have my list as well:

o New Tires
o Fog replacement - both sides
o Full Synthetic oil change
o Full detail - no scratches, just minor cleaning needed

I did brake rotors, pads, hoses, belts, water pump, thermostat/housing, coolant last year, so I'm good to go in that department.

Dead pixels are pissing me off and I'm contemplating which route to take with that, BMWNA is ignoring my calls/emails so I may DIY, but don't have the time right now.

Oh, 113K miles and growing...

Welcome back RR! get her ready for our Tri state meet..

The cold weather does seem to do crappy things to our cars. From malfunctioning PDC to frozen door handles--it's a joy! Haha.

Agreed on Northeast meet.

My list is pretty simple, going new wheels and tires (save my current 18s and all seasons for next winter) and I think I might do HID fogs. Also thinking about new Navi setup, but waiting for tv-in-motion to come out.

Boat has a much longer list. New GPS/sounder, cushions recovered, add some more rod holders, full detail, etc.

Ready for spring...
