BMW X5 E53 Roof racks
Hi everyone! I have lost my roof racks key and I have been struggling for about two months now trying to get it from the dealers and nobody seems to know how to get it or even order it. I had it ordered once and waited for 3 weeks and still never came in. then I went to a different dealer and they had ordered for me the whole screws kit all the way from germanybecause it comes with the key and I've waited 3 more weeks and when I got em they were the wrong ones. the screws are too short and the key don't fit my old screws. I've been using a pliers to put my racks on and off and I'm messing up the threads. the key code on my screws is KR. I would appreciate and help or advice!! thanx guys.

My E53 roof racks crapped out on me, but I think the locking mechanisms are still good. I'm not sure if they can be swapped out or not. I'd consider selling them....

Well thanx for sharing that with me but honestly I would rather just get the key for my roof racks. Thanx anyways!
