Valve Gaskets Replaced...

Hello again guys,

So about 4k miles ago I've replaced Valve Cover Gaskets, upper timing gaskets, and some more gaskets in valve covers... anyway my oil consumption is still High! I saw some leaks on bottom of valve covers and am wondering what could it be? Washers havn't been replaced, maybe that could be the problem?
BMW E53 X5 M62 4.4L > Search > 11121437395 > ES#18148 Valve Cover Seal Washer - Priced Each - 11121437395
BMW E53 X5 M62 4.4L > Search > 11121721879 > ES#18250 Valve Cover Seal Washer - Priced Each - 11121721879
I also washed the car and tomorrow I am going to inspect it from underneath. thinking PCV(I have alrady) should be replaced? Or should I order PCV valve itself? how would I know if it's damaged? some tell me that High sound on cold starts is PCV valve problem. I will also check the Oil pan itself.
Also about oil I use,
Previously I have used Castrol Edge sport 10w-60 and Castrol Edge 10w-60M motorsport(For M engines)-just because in Georgia everyone uses it in there X5s and even almost all mechanics reccomend it. Anyway after discussion on Xoutpost I plan on chaning it. My 10-60 has only 4k miles on, and I would like your opinion on should I right now remove it, let it be for at least 10k miles? or let it be there for til next oil change?
Right now I am thinking what to use?
Motor Oil and Lubricants Castrol UK - Castrol Magnatec - Magnetic 5w-40 or
Motor Oil and Lubricants Castrol UK and Ireland - EDGE 5W-40 - Edge 5w-40?
I drive the car calmly in city most of the time, but I do Like redlining it from time to time in Sports mode putting 220 on speedometer.
It is 00' M62 with 140k Miles. Runs great, I have relay of alternator that has to be changed as of now, and Diff chain that is streched.
