Feeler: Thinking about selling my 05 4.8is...
I'm thinking about selling my Silver on Black 2005 4.8is, and I'm wondering what everyone thinks the car is worth and would be a fair price for it. I absolutely love this car, but my job just changed and I will be on the road a lot more, so I will probably end up with a 335 Sedan or a 5 series again!
It has 59,900 miles, a Clean Carfax, and I've always garaged it (in San Diego) and had it profesionally detailed. Like most 4.8is's, it is loaded with options: Navi, 20 inch wheels, comfort seats, adjustable suspension, front and rear heated seats, front and rear park distance control, panoramic sunroof. In addition to these options, it has the following upgrades: CPO Extended Warranty through 06/11 BMW Tow Hitch (with a slick look, see picture) BSW Subwoofer and front sound stage BMW Ipod adaptor Auxiliary Input (slick install in the front tray see picture Tinted Windows Rubber front and cargo mats It also has brand new Toyo ST II Proxes tires. Hmmm ill have to think about this one.. 27.9 given lower miles yea, but check out Autotrader for yr/miles.. Ill think about it..
Let me know when/if you get a final price. As for 4.8is specific options: Heated steering? rear airbags? load floor? (EDIT) PM'ed

CPO is not really going to be a factor, it expires in 3 months. The hitch is nice if you tow. If not, it's not worth much to the buyer. Even so, I used hitch is only worth $200 at most. New tires are an add and the stereo may have added value as well.
