suspension compressor for 4-corner air suspension X5's
4.8is owners and non-4.8is owners with 4-corner self level suspension --
Arnott now carries the OEM compressor (WABCO)!! RealOEM shows this to be around $800 and it's certainly more for the dealership but Arnott sells it for $510. New 4 Corner Air Suspension Compressor for 2003-2006 (w/ 4 corner air leveling ONLY) X5 I've purchased my front strut from them and my S500's airmatic compressor. I'm a satisfied customer and not affiliated in any other way. I'd just like to spread the good news. :-)

I hope not to need a compressor again anytime soon (did that a year ago), but great to hear that Arnott continues to support us X5 owners that are in it for the long haul. I will definitely buy from them when I need air sus parts.

Maybe a stupid question but would not each other 12V compressor do the job?
This one Landrover 12V Leistungs Kompressor Jeep u.a. - Yatego.com (german page) can be bought for ~€100. I am sure you have something similar local.
