Talking New Member Hellows and my concern!

How yall doing? new to this forum used to roam bimmerfest. sold my e39 got into e53 04 3.0i very interesting color its dark blue but when light hits it changes to purple. very happy with the car previous owner took care of it it seems one word to describe is its clean. so hello to every one, i will try to help with what i know and would hope to have the likewise demeanor from you all as well. my only concern with it is it revs on very low rpms when in D and foot on brake i would say 200 rmps is this the norm for x5?

WELCOME

its all about how the transmission is broken in or how u use it. I bet if you drive in sport mode and press on the brake, the car will downshift and you will get a totally different feel. But to me, that sounds pretty normal. Try Sport mode, and let us know how it goes
