Now this... I'd call just for a laugh and watch how sad his story is.. IIRC: Isn't the pictured car's owner a member? I know someone has that wheel combo here. As for the scam. I must say he/she actually put -some- effort into it, all he/she needs is a fake vin (a 4.8is one ofcourse), but at the end of the day, that price is in no way legit. Walk Away.

Very common for craigslist cars posted at $7,500 that are worth $20k+. It is kinda nice, it makes it that much easier to spot the scam ads and skip over to the next one.

$7200 without the engine. Add approx. another $20,000 if you want it.
If you have time, give them a call just for the fun of it. I think, we all would like to know what are the latest scam tactics being used.
