Parking sensors problem,please help me!

Hi all,
I have just noticed that my parking sensors have stopped working.
When i put it into reverse there is a loud continious bleep for about 2 seconds and the green light flashes on the switch!
I have listened to the sensors and each one has the clicking noise but one of the front ones is a little quieter than the rest! They are clean and dry! Nothing happens when someone stands in front of them when in reverse.
I dont know what it could be, can anyone suggest anything?

Many thanks,
Roy

Mmmm.

Try again .... there must be one of the 8 sensors not clicking. Make sure that when you're listening that it's not the next sensor you're hearing and you're mistaking it for the one you've got your ear to. You said one was quieter than the others so pay particular attention to that one.

Also get your fingers in behind the bumper and just make sure the connector is firmly in place for each sensor. I've personally found that road bumps etc. can disturb the seating of the connectors and knock the sensor out.

Hi Mate,
Thanks for your reply. They all definetley click, but the drivers side front one is not as loud. I cant seem to get to the back of this one to check the connectors though!
This is really bugging me now!
Cheers,
Roy.

I have read somewhere you can stop either the front or rear from working by taking the appropriate plug from the PDC module.
I have located the module and have tried taking the front and then the rear plug out but neither of them work seperately.
Do you guys think its the quiet sensor at the frnt? If so how do i go about changing it without taking the bumper off? Is it possible?
Thanks,
Roy
